Welcome to My Indian Summer

Welcome to my blog about a woman’s  journey towards a carefree life ( as carefree as a  mother of a five year old can be),  a life where she can enjoy the sunshine on her face, the breeze through her hair and where she can stop to smell the ocean.  I know it may sound cheezy but that is exactly what I am desperately looking for. In my woman’s world of stress, mutlitasking between getting my son ready for school, getting ready for work, cleaning the house, worries about my family’s health, I have often been at breaking point. I would just hold my internal being still so as to not explode. I Knew that i needed to be the strong on in my family, but dammit i am a human too, with my own feelings.

It probably started as I have been reaching the end of my 30s and felt my life was out of my control, it was gradually and slowly spirally away from a life of peace and happiness. So I decided not to be a victim of my circumstances, to make the changes I felt I needed to make to be happy again. I want to be excited with life. To my find my Indian summer. A time of happiness and excitement with being confident that it will all work out somehow and I can do what ever I want like when I was a young girl  enjoying my Indian summers in Goa.

Welcome to our website

Hi, I am Nadia and I hit a big age milestone last month. That was probably the propeller to get my blog started. I have always shied away from social media, especially the last few years. I have avoided  putting the regular updates on facebook, can hardly use Instagram and have never been on twitter. Like ever.

But here I am putting my thoughts out there into the universe. I dont know if anyone will ever read my blog or find anything helpful from my own journey, but if I can, it would be worth it.

So here I am just taking the plunge, into the deep abyss that is social media world.
